Who knew I'd be using my drama degree to play singing amish characters? But, I'm so excited to announce that I get to spend the majority of my 2022 performing with a wonderful company that produces original Amish-centered musicals in Shipshewana, Indiana. I'll be playing Pam in their production of "Half-Stitched". My character is a stringent, impulsive, yet earnest housewife who attends a quilting class in an attempt to salvage her crumbling marriage. I'll spend the second half of my time there originating a role in the premiere of their new show "Dear Soldier Boy". I'll be playing the elderly, quirky, and sassy Fern, an amish cheese shop owner who mentors her younger employees. I'm so grateful for this amazing opportunity to tell these unique stories in such a fascinating place!
